Mumbai, 25 February 2025 – As part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community welfare, CREDAI-MCHI has extended support to Mumbai Mobile Crèche, an NGO dedicated to the education and well-being of children of construction workers. The organization has contributed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grant of INR 2, 01,000 along with play kits aimed at fostering a nurturing and engaging environment for these children.
This initiative reflects CREDAI-MCHI’s vision of promoting holistic development for underprivileged communities by providing financial assistance and recreational resources to those most in need. Through this donation, CREDAI-MCHI reiterates its commitment to creating meaningful opportunities and improving the lives of those at the grassroots level.
The announcement was made during the MCHI Premier League (MPL) 11, a three-day cricket tournament featuring eight competitive teams. The event served as a platform to merge the spirit of sportsmanship with a strong social message. By providing children with exposure to recreational opportunities beyond their daily challenges, CREDAI-MCHI aims to inspire confidence and foster personal growth among them.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Domnic Romell, President, CREDAI-MCHI, stated, “At CREDAI-MCHI, we are dedicated to building not just infrastructure but futures. These children, who often remain unnoticed, deserve equal access to opportunities that enable them to thrive. Supporting their education and encouraging participation in sports allows us to instill confidence and open new possibilities for their future success.”
Adding to this, Mr. Shailesh Sanghvi, MPL Convener, said, “The MPL represents more than just a sporting event—it is a platform for meaningful change. This year’s CSR initiative ensures that children of construction workers feel recognized and supported. Through this effort, we hope to nurture emerging talent and create opportunities that can pave the way for a brighter future.”
The initiative also encouraged industry-wide participation by offering sponsorship opportunities, allowing businesses to contribute to the welfare of children while promoting inclusivity and sportsmanship within the sector.
As a leading organization in the real estate sector, CREDAI-MCHI firmly believes that progress goes beyond infrastructure development—it lies in fostering an inclusive and equitable society. Through its various CSR initiatives, the organization consistently works toward the overall growth and welfare of communities in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). By integrating social responsibility with industry growth, CREDAI-MCHI remains committed to creating a sustainable and thriving ecosystem that supports both real estate development and the people who are its foundation.
