New Delhi, November 28, 2024: The Sanjeev Sinha Foundation hosted an engaging and insightful panel discussion, “A Conversation on Origin & Universality,” at the Visual Arts Gallery, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. This captivating session, part of the ongoing exhibition Buoyant Iconic Depth (running from November 20th to 26th), brought together art lovers, critics, and press members for a rich exchange of ideas about the intersection of ancestry, creativity, and the universal appeal of art.

The discussion delved into the artistic journey of renowned artist Sanjeev Sinha (1963–2020), celebrated for intricately weaving Indian mythological stories with universal themes of humanism. The dialogue explored how deeply rooted cultural narratives can transcend their origins to evoke universal truths, using Sinha’s legacy as a case study.

The panel also paid tribute to Sanjeev Sinha, who passed away in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. His mastery in blending Indian mythological narratives with humanistic philosophies has left an enduring mark on the world of art, continuing to inspire introspection and connection across cultures.
