chandrayan-3

Chandrayaan-3 is going to land on the far side of the Moon today at 6:04 IST as per the media report. If everything goes well the team at ISRO will try to land the lander on the Moon today itself. However, some experts opine that, if there would be any complications in the landing process, the process could be postponed to the next four days. The process might take place on August 27.

Chandrayaan-3 is India’s third lunar exploration mission, intended to follow up on the successes of Chandrayaan-1 and Chandrayaan-2. It was expected to focus primarily on the lander and rover components. The mission was started on 14 July.

The landing on the moon will be telecast and people can watch its landing. Chandrayaan-3 land will explore the moon for water and other parameters for 14 days – one lunar day –  which is equal to 14 days.
