The lab has successfully attained the prestigious Client Test Data Program (CTDP) accreditation from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), certifying its equipment, processes, and personnel to conduct regulatory testing for Fire Systems/Panels independently. This achievement positions Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) as a leader in the Asia-Pacific region, achieving CTDP accreditation and setting a new benchmark for excellence in the industry.
The CTDP accreditation grants HTS the autonomy to execute regulatory tests and submit reports directly to UL for review and certification. This milestone is expected to deliver upwards of 30% savings in regulatory costs and cycle time, significantly enhancing operational efficiency for Honeywell’s Fire Systems business.
This accomplishment is the culmination of years of dedication and leadership by the HTS India Building Automation team. The team has built a robust foundation over the years, achieving IEC/ISO 17025 accreditation for the EMI/EMC, Thermal, and Vibration labs. Over the last three years, the team has been delivering flawless remote witness testing, setting the stage for the accomplishment of the UL CTDP accreditation milestone
