PCG's Bengaluru Team Plants 104 Saplings

The initiative, which was launched on World Positive Thinking Day with the support of E-Cure Charitable Trust (R), reflects PCG’s commitment to social responsibility and its aim to inspire impactful change with everything they do. The initiative will be further expanded to other business centres of the company, including New Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.

Commenting on the initiative, Roshan Mohan, Group MD, PCG, said, “At PCG, creating positive impact is at the heart of everything we do. Sustainability is a shared responsibility, and planting the first 100 saplings in Bangalore is just the beginning of our Seeds of Change initiative. We found an ideal partner in E-Cure, who ensures the continued nurturing of the planted saplings. We aim to expand this program to our other offices in future, reinforcing our commitment to a greener, healthier future.”

Native Trees to Nourish Communities and Sustain Bengaluru Ecosystem

PCG chose a selection of trees native to Bangalore, including lemon, jackfruit, hibiscus, jasmine, and nandibatlu. These trees were selected explicitly for two reasons: first, their adaptability and significance as indigenous species that support the local ecosystem; and second, at the request of St. John’s Hospital, which runs a remarkable initiative providing free meals to patients and their bystanders from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The fruits and flowers from these trees will directly contribute to this program, helping nourish those in need while enhancing the green landscape of the city.

In other cities as well, PCG will be planting native species to ensure long-term sustainability and a lasting positive impact on local ecosystems.
