Chandigarh, April 15: On the occasion of the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Jayant Chaudhary, paid tribute to the Father of the Indian Constitution along with the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi at Prerna Sthal located in the Parliament complex.

During the ceremony, Shri Chaudhary remembered the invaluable contribution of Dr. Ambedkar in shaping the Constitution of India and emphasized the continued relevance of his ideals in contemporary India. He highlighted that Dr. Ambedkar’s vision remains a guiding force for justice, equality, and empowerment in the country.
Following this, Shri Chaudhary proceeded to the Central Hall of Parliament, where he paid floral tributes to the statue of Dr. Ambedkar in the gracious presence of the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, Shri Om Birla. Several other Members of Parliament and dignitaries were also present on the occasion, collectively remembering Dr. Ambedkar’s life and his contribution to constitutional values.
Shri Chaudhary stated that Dr. Ambedkar’s life continues to inspire social justice, equality, and empowerment. He added that his ideas guide the youth of the nation towards progress and development. He further noted that the Government of India is committed to advancing Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals through inclusive growth and skill empowerment, working continuously towards building a stronger and more equitable India.
Later, Shri Chaudhary also paid floral tributes at his residence along with Members of Parliament Shri Rajkumar Sangwan and Shri Chandan Chauhan, honoring Dr. Ambedkar’s portrait.
