In an extraordinary celebration of linguistic diversity and literature a tribute to outstanding contributions, Scholarstree Educare Private Limited and Palingo Foreign and Indian Languages Institute online and offline classes, Nanded City, Sinhaghad Road, Pune -411041, Maharashtra.

Poona College jointly organized a Multilingual International Language Festival on the occasion of International Mother Language Day. This event, held in collaboration with prominent organizations such as the World Network for Promotion of Multiple Languages, Eduthon Education Beyond Syllabus, Scholarstree Educare Private Limited, Aprajita Foundation(Zahira Shaikh, Devayani Gupta, Mrs. Angha), Vedgunn Foundation ( Mrs. Deepa Kalia) featuring partner Stay featured, Celebration partner Amar Bakers, and Regional media partner Samrudh Vyapar, aimed to bridge cultural gaps through the universal language of words.

Principal Dr. Aftab Anwar Sheikh, in his welcoming address, highlighted the pivotal role of languages in connecting human beings. He underscored Poona College’s unwavering commitment to uniting all languages and institutions, working tirelessly to promote the service and growth of Indian languages on a unified platform.

Vice Principal Moinuddin Khan elaborated on the significance of all languages, emphasizing their vital role in societal development. Renowned writer Shamim Tariq, from Mumbai, passionately advocated for making language symbols of friendship and eliminating the perception that Indian languages are inferior. Tariq stressed the need to preserve endangered languages, recognizing the rich linguistic diversity present in India.

The event featured distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Bobby Karnani ( VNWC) & Guest of Honour Mahima Mehra( Himalayan Volunteer Tourism)
Special Guest Mrs. Surbhi Aplesh, along with dedicated organizers and contributors such as Mrs. Bhawana Gupta, Dr. Prachetan Potadar, Neelam Londhe, Dr. Anita Kaul, Priti Dabde, Dr. Deepali Shirgave, Shri Dattatray Paralkar, Dr. Sonal Purohit, Srilakshmi Deshpande, Shahtaj Khan, Malvika, Sunita Tomar, Meenakshi Bhalerao, Purnima Lunawat, Snehal Tamboli Jadhav, Swati Amar Chaudhary, Dr. Akshay Kamble, Ruhina Nadaf, Anjali Turare, Sheetal Parmar, Aarti Deshpande, and many more.

The event reached its pinnacle with the presentation of the Aprajita Awards by Chief Guest Bobby Karnani and Vice Principal Imtiaz Aga. These awards honored women who have made remarkable contributions to society in the fields of education and social service. The show, expertly crafted and hosted by Dr. Saravjeet Kirad, Mrs. Shweta Pankaj, and Dr. Shakir Shaikh, ensured a seamless and inspiring event that left a lasting impact on all attendees.
