March 20, 2025: Hetvi Construction Ltd., a leading player in infrastructure and renewable energy, has secured a significant contract from Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) for the design, engineering, procurement, erection, and commissioning of a 125 MW AC Solar PV Power Plant in Karbi Anglong, Assam. This milestone project brings the company closer to its long-term vision of achieving 1000 MW in renewable energy capacity.
Initially founded as Hetvi Construction LLP in 2017 and later restructured as a limited company on April 15, 2024, Hetvi Construction Ltd. is led by industry experts Hitesh Bhuva and Tarang Savaliya. Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the company has built a strong reputation in large-scale infrastructure development, with extensive experience in executing water supply projects under the Jal Jeevan Mission.
The 125 MW AC Solar PV Power Plant will be developed as a turnkey project with an estimated contract value of INR 740.07 crore, including all taxes and duties. The project, identified under Contract No. APDCL/ADB/MMSSP/PKG-1/01-02, is set for completion within one year.
Hetvi Construction Ltd. will be responsible for the full EPC execution, covering design, procurement, erection, and commissioning. The company is also collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate land acquisition and grid connectivity. For this initiative, Hetvi Construction Ltd. has partnered with Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. and Jayantisuper Construction Pvt. Ltd. and is in advanced discussions with leading module and inverter suppliers to ensure efficient procurement.
