AssisTech Foundation Partners with Government of Goa to Unite to Advance Disability Inclusion at International Purple Fest, Goa 2025

Bengaluru, 23rd October, 2025:  AssisTech Foundation (ATF), India’s first ecosystem enabler for Assistive Technology (AT), partnered with the Government of Goa for the International Purple Fest, Goa (IPFG) 2025, India’s largest celebration of disability inclusion. Through a series of high-impact initiatives, ATF demonstrated how technology is transforming the lives of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) across Learning, Livelihood, and Living.

ATF Highlights at IPFG 2025

  • Purple Cruise – Curtain Raiser Event
    ATF hosted an exclusive invite-only gathering that brought together government leaders, senior bureaucrats, corporates, investors, and innovators from India and Switzerland. Shri Shubhash Phal Desai, Honourable Minister of Social Welfare, Government of Goa, along with State Commissioners for Persons with Disabilities and AT innovators, attended the event.
  • sensATe Pavilion – Tech for Disability Inclusion
    In partnership with Tech Mahindra Foundation and Swissnex, ATF curated an immersive Experience Zone featuring cutting-edge AT solutions. Innovations like Adidvara, an AI-driven platform for PwDs, showcased how technology can drive inclusion and accessibility.
  • coAT – National Roundtable on Assistive Technology
    In collaboration with Bajaj Finserv, ATF launched coAT, a national-level dialogue themed “State as an Enabler: How to Scale AT to Empower Every PwD Across the 3Ls (Learning, Livelihood and Living.” The closed-door session brought together policymakers, innovators, and ecosystem leaders to discuss policy, innovation, and strategies for expanding AT adoption across India.
  • Panel Discussion on Indo–Swiss Collaboration
    A special dialogue moderated by Manmeet Kaur Nanda, Additional Secretary, DEPwD, featured innovators from Lighthouse Tech, Magnes, DeepPsy, Trestle Labs, and SignSetu. The discussion explored how Indo-Swiss collaboration can accelerate global inclusion through assistive innovation and technology exchange.
