The National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, presents The Rockstar (2011) Fanmeet as part of its NCPA Off Stage programme, in collaboration with DIY Solutions. Celebrating Imtiaz Ali’s landmark musical drama, the event brings together the film’s creators, cast, and fans for a curated experience that revisits the music, memories, and making of Rockstar at the NCPA.
A central highlight of the evening is an in-depth on-stage panel discussion with director Imtiaz Ali and members of the cast, offering reflections on the creative journey behind the film, its characters, music, and the moments that continue to resonate with audiences. The session will also include select audience interactions, allowing fans to engage directly with the filmmakers.
Additionally, a conversation with the film’s Director of Photography, Editor, and key crew members will spotlight the technical and creative processes that shaped Rockstar’s distinctive visual language and emotional tone. The evening also features a specially curated musical storytelling performance by Laksh Maheshwari and accompanying artistes, who reimagine the film’s narrative arc through music and storytelling.
