Vizag, 20th June 2024: Rayalaseema Kings, the defending champions of the Andhra Premier League, owned by Mr. B Dasarath Ram Reddy takes immense pride in releasing their new anthem “Thipparaa Meesam” ahead of the new season of APL which kicks off from 30th June 2024. The team beat Coastal Riders in the final last year. Led by the sensational all-rounder Girinath Reddy and coached by the experienced VVV Apparao this season, the team is brimming with young cricketing talent with over half the squad adorned by promising Under 23 stars from the Telugu states.
Promoting young talent is the bedrock of the vision Rayalaseema Kings has at their heart and the anthem reflects just that. Composed by Mr. Pavan Kumar and written by Mr. Suresh Banisetti, it is dedicated to the loyal fans as the team gears up for the new season which is scheduled to take place in the Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA–VDCA Stadium in Vizag and will be broadcasted on Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports First and FanCode. It reflects the spirit of the fans of the region as they sing, dance, chant and support their favourite side to glory once again by twirling their moustaches.
