This Karva Chauth, the Shukrana Gratitude Foundation, is leading a heartfelt initiative to bring a modern perspective to this cherished tradition, encouraging couples to embrace mutual love, equality, and gratitude. Drawing inspiration from The Magic Book and The Secret, this redefined approach focuses on shared appreciation and emotional connection, where both partners celebrate each other’s role in their relationship.

In this reimagined Karva Chauth, couples are introducing new traditions that reflect the values of modern relationships:

  •  Joint Fasting: Couples fast together, symbolizing unity and shared responsibility for each other’s well-being.
  • Gratitude Rituals: Partners exchange notes, gestures, or simple acts of kindness to recognize the everyday moments that bring them closer.
  • Mindfulness & Shared Dreams: The day is a time for reflection, allowing couples to express gratitude and set future goals for their journey together.

Couple Gratitude Pledge Campaign
To amplify this message of love and appreciation, Shukrana Gratitude Foundation is launching the Couple Gratitude Pledge Campaign, a week-long event inviting couples to share their love stories and express gratitude for one another. As part of the campaign, couples will take a pledge to practice gratitude daily, recognizing the power it has to strengthen their relationships.

Couples can participate by:
1. Taking the Pledge: Commit to gratitude as a core value in your relationship.
2. Sharing Your Love Story: Post messages or photos that highlight moments of appreciation and connection.
3. Joining the Community: Celebrate alongside other couples as they embrace mindful appreciation.

“This Karva Chauth, we were reminded that true love is not just in grand gestures, but in the small moments of appreciation we often overlook. By practicing mindful gratitude, we deepen our connections, nourish our hearts, and create bonds that stand the test of time. Let every day be a celebration of love and gratitude.”
