Continuum, an immersive art exhibition curated by Gauri Minocha, successfully previewed on April 11, 2026, at The Art Hub Gallery. The exhibition is open to the public from April 12 to May 1, 2026, offering audiences a unique opportunity to experience art within a thoughtfully designed domestic setting.
Marking a new chapter in exhibition-making, Continuum invites visitors to engage with art in a more personal and lived environment. Spread across rooms, hallways, stairways, terraces, and lawns, the exhibition transforms each space into an active site of interaction. This fluid spatial narrative mirrors the rhythms of everyday life—encouraging reflection, transition, and conversation while fostering an intimate connection with the artworks.
Bringing together nearly 100 works, the exhibition showcases a diverse selection of South Asian artists spanning generations—from modern masters to contemporary practitioners. Moving beyond a linear curatorial format, Continuum creates intergenerational dialogues by placing artworks in conversation across time, mediums, and artistic approaches. These juxtapositions highlight meaningful intersections between tradition and experimentation, as well as memory and immediacy.
The exhibition features an expansive roster of artists, including Francis Newton Souza, Jamini Roy, Jogen Chowdhury, Ganesh Haloi, Ram Kumar, Ramkinkar Baij, Somnath Hore, Vivan Sundaram, alongside a wide array of contemporary voices such as Avijit Roy, Bazil Habib, Hadia Hassan, Haneen Almoosawi, Kumari Nahappan, and many others.
By situating artworks within both interior and open-air environments, Continuum dissolves traditional boundaries—between art and everyday life, interior and exterior, and private and public spaces. The exhibition encourages a slower, more contemplative mode of viewing, where art is experienced as part of a continuous, evolving environment rather than in isolation.
With its innovative curatorial approach and diverse artistic representation, Continuum positions itself as a significant cultural offering, inviting audiences to rethink how art is encountered and experienced.
