Following the vision laid out by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu to position Andhra Pradesh as a global hub for advanced technologies including artificial intelligence, Shri Kandula Durgesh, Hon’ble Minister for Tourism, Culture and Cinematography, Government of Andhra Pradesh, held a productive meeting today with the leadership team from Eros Innovation.

Eros Innovation was represented by Vikram Tanna, CEO – Eros Universe & Eros Now, Piyush Bhatia, Group Chief Marketing Officer, Eros Innovation, and Dr. Shilpa Desai, CEO – Eros Wellness R&D.
The meeting was also attended by Shri A. Srinivas, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority, and Ms. Sathya Prabha, Head of Investments, Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority.
During the discussions, the teams explored opportunities to collaborate on developing the world’s first Cultural AI ecosystem for tourism, powered by Eros Innovation’s Large Cultural Models (LCM), a new class of artificial intelligence designed to understand Indian culture, mythology, languages, and storytelling traditions.
Under the guidance and vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, the initiative aims to transform tourism experiences across Andhra Pradesh by creating immersive digital journeys around temples, heritage destinations, and cultural narratives.
The collaboration could also unlock new opportunities for youth participation in the emerging creator economy and the broader orange economy, enabling artists, storytellers, designers, filmmakers and digital creators to build globally distributed cultural experiences around Andhra Pradesh’s rich heritage.
By combining tourism, technology, storytelling and digital platforms, the initiative has the potential to expand Andhra Pradesh’s cultural footprint globally while creating new pathways for innovation, digital participation and creative entrepreneurship.
The meeting also discussed how advanced cultural AI technologies can help position Andhra Pradesh as a global leader in immersive heritage tourism, cultural technology and the creative economy.
Both teams agreed to continue working together to explore initiatives that align with the state’s long-term vision of combining technology, culture and tourism to create new economic, cultural and innovation opportunities.
