Combining a sleek, premium finish with everyday functionality, the straightener enables efficient styling in a single stroke, reducing styling time by up to 50% with results that last for up to three days.
Hair styling in India is often complex and effort-intensive. Insights from a Kantar study1 on female grooming devices highlight that consumers frequently struggle with frizz and concerns around styling-induced hair breakage. Despite being time-consuming and expensive, many continue to rely on salon visits due to a belief that they deliver better results, while hesitation around at-home styling persists due to concerns around heat damage or accidental burns.
Rooted in Philips’ ‘Designed for Indian Hair’ philosophy and shaped by the everyday styling challenges faced by Indian consumers, the One Stroke Hair Straightener is designed to deliver salon-like results at home while reducing styling time and helping protect hair strength.
Featuring a sleek, premium design, the straightener enables efficient styling across a range of looks-from everyday styles to more polished finishes. Its 25% longer plates allow larger sections of hair to be styled in one go, while 35% smoother plates glide through strands, reducing the need for repeated passes and helping minimize friction and breakage. For hair prone to frizz, especially in humid conditions, 2x Ionic Care technology helps deliver smoother, shinier results that last longer.
To address concerns around heat damage, the straightener is equipped with ThermoShield technology, which regulates temperature during styling to help protect hair strength while still achieving the desired look. With 12 adjustable temperature settings ranging from 120°C to 230°C, it offers flexibility across different hair types and styling preferences. Additional features such as argon-infused ceramic plates, a Safe Touch Cool Tip to help prevent accidental burns, and a lightweight design ensure ease and comfort during use.
