Mumbai, Feb 10: Most Valentine’s Days follow a familiar rhythm; candlelit tables, red roses, and gestures that feel rehearsed. This year, Amazonia shifts the narrative by moving away from the expected and into something far more considered. Valentine’s Day becomes a live theatrical experience where bioluminescent forests glow in luminous blue, performances unfold organically, and the evening blurs the boundaries between dining, performance, and atmosphere.
Two live performances, each running 12 to 15 minutes, unfold in distinct acts throughout the evening. The narrative follows two central characters through a love-led journey, brought to life through layered lighting, bespoke visuals, and a carefully composed soundscape. Timed across dining slots, every table becomes part of the story at precisely the right moment. This is central entertainment; the emotional core of the evening, anchored in the defining line: “I See You; more than a glance, a soul-connection across the divide.” The storyline is entirely original, created exclusively for the night by Amazonia’s in-house theatre team.
Décor and lighting recast the space as a dreamlike forest setting. Music directs the mood, forming a layered sound environment that supports the visual narrative. Every detail constructs a world that exists for a single night only, where the boundary between dining and storytelling quietly disappears.
The regular à la carte menu continues, featuring jungle-inspired vegetarian and vegan dishes guests return for. For Valentine’s Day, two specially developed cocktails and themed desserts enhance the experience; available only on February 14th. The philosophy is deliberate; refine and elevate what already works, rather than reinvent.
Year after year, Amazonia has reinterpreted Valentine’s Day through its forest-led lens, previously bringing Adam & Eve and Beauty and the Beast to life. This year’s Avatar-inspired concept marks the next chapter, seamlessly blending theatre, atmosphere, and food into one cohesive vision; an experience that exists nowhere else in the city.
Guests may choose between two dining windows; 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM or 10:00 PM onwards,. There is no prescribed dress code, though the evening naturally calls for something refined or celebratory. Reservations are now open. The experience takes place at Amazonia, Godrej Building, BKC, from 7 PM onwards on February 14th. Because love, as Amazonia presents it, is meant to be experienced; not just reserved.
