Mumbai, July 29: The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has said that lower trading volumes could impact its revenue as it prepares for its proposed Rs 30,000-crore IPO.

In its IPO documents, NSE highlighted that its earnings depend largely on trading activity and market participation. A decline in investor activity or changes in market conditions could affect the exchange’s transaction-based income.

The exchange said that while growing retail participation and increased interest in financial markets have supported its business, market fluctuations remain a key factor that could influence future performance.

NSE’s upcoming IPO is expected to attract strong interest from investors as the exchange plays a major role in India’s capital markets.

The company will continue to focus on strengthening its platforms, expanding market participation, and maintaining a transparent and efficient trading environment.
