New Delhi: India and Singapore have reaffirmed their commitment to deepen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with senior ministers from both countries reviewing progress and identifying new areas of cooperation during the fourth India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable in Singapore.

The Indian delegation, comprising Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal and Minister of State Jitin Prasada, held discussions covering trade, investment, advanced manufacturing, digitalisation, healthcare and sustainability.

Technology emerged as a key area of cooperation, with both sides exploring collaboration in semiconductor supply chains, digital public infrastructure, artificial intelligence governance, cybersecurity and digital skills. The discussions also focused on strengthening economic engagement and creating new opportunities for businesses and investors in both countries.

The high-level engagement is expected to provide fresh momentum to bilateral ties as India and Singapore seek to expand cooperation in emerging technologies, investment and strategic sectors. The two countries also exchanged agreements covering areas including food safety, telecommunications and maritime heritage.
