Renowned for her role as Rajesh in &TV’s Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, actor Geetanjali Mishra recently embarked on a deeply spiritual journey at the Mahakumbh, taking a holy dip in the sacred waters. Held once every 12 years, this grand spiritual gathering is among the most revered events in Hinduism, drawing millions of devotees seeking purification and enlightenment. For Geetanjali, it was more than just a ritual—it was a soul-stirring experience of faith, devotion, and inner peace.

Reflecting on the powerful moment, Geetanjali aka Rajesh shared, “Being at the Mahakumbh was surreal. The energy of the place, the rhythmic chants, and the unwavering faith of the devotees left me speechless. Before taking my dip, I walked along the ghats, immersing myself in the divine atmosphere—the aroma of incense, the sound of conch shells, and the sight of sadhus in deep meditation. It felt like a journey within. Every prayer I witnessed, and every mantra I heard, deepened my connection to the divine. And when I finally stepped into the holy river, an overwhelming sense of peace washed over me. It was as if the sacred waters embraced my soul, dissolving all worries in their gentle ripples.”

Adding to the significance of her journey, she said, “The city of Prayagraj radiated a spiritual energy that was truly humbling. Despite the immense number of devotees, the hospitality, faith, and dedication of the people were heartwarming. For 43 days, they worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth and enriching experience for everyone. Almost half of the nation’s population converged in one place, yet there was only devotion, discipline, and kindness all around. Witnessing such a monumental event—one that happens only once in four to five generations—felt like a divine blessing. To complete my spiritual retreat, I also visited the sacred Shri Nagvasuki Temple and Shri Bade Hanumanji Mandir, both of which hold deep religious significance.”
